Just finished the SLO, had problems getting some of the wires through the eyelets because of the size.
Overdrive channel is working fine but when I switch to normal the volume is very low.
Both pots maxed and hardly getting any signal
traced all the signal chain everything looks ok.
Bypassed the crunch/clean switching and went directly onto the grid of V1B but still nothing, voltages are ok.
Swapped valves still nothing, any ideas?
Also I take it that the Aux 6.3v tap the center tap should not be grounded?
Also the standby switch pops
Tried a vtl5c1 in ldr5 position but could get it to work correctly.
Trying to have hybrid power between relays and ldrs I couldn't work out, the component was a cheap Chinese copy.
Not sure if it worked from new.
Ended up using another relay which worked great.
There is a definite more defined sound without the 2 channels without bleeding into each other.
The other take is to use blue high voltage ceramic disk caps on the 1nf positions this cleans the sound up.
The sprague orange drop capacitors seemed ok in the coupling but if I did it again I would just use mallory 150 capacitors through out.

just a question on the relay board, can you implement LDR5 as well as the relays to shut off the normal channel and stop the bleed into the overdrive channel?
I find the best setting are to dime the crunch channel and then switch to overdrive but the normal bleed swamps the overdrive.
I found the problem, I hadn't put a link across LDR5 so it was open circuit.
The normal channel is now working but has a small hum which I am investigating
