Hello all,
I have populated my Prince board and am prepping the chassis with ground lugs and sockets and pots, and have begun planning the wire routing. I think I may have found an error on the layout diagram, perhaps someone can verify with me. On the diagram, where the red and blue wires from the 220k grid leak resistors go to the power tube sockets, the diagram shows a blue wire marked on the board as V5/P5 going to V6/P5 and the red wire that is marked V6/P5 goinng to V5/P5. Should these be wired as to what is marked on the board ? Perhaps it doesn't matter, as the schematisc looks like the same place in the circuit, but I think it ought to be corrected to avoid confusion.
thanks for any help.
David
1st off, I don't believe it matters. I just finished this build and tho there were some "isues", it turned out well in the end.
2nd, when I was reaching out for help via this forum, no one responded to me. When I'd write Andrea an email directly, he'd answer if he had the answer. If he didn't, he just wouldn't rerspond. I ended up going to 18watt.com as I have a "presence" there to get the help I needed to muddle through it.
What I found troubling was that this PCB board and layout that comes with it are pretty straight forward, but the schematics don't match up 100%. The changes and modifications that Andrea added, came with no modified schematic. This made troubleshooting difficult and I did have some troubleshooting to do.
However, I got to the end. Came out nice. I'm very happy. PCB board was very nice quality. Just not much of any customer support.
