MESA MK2C review request

Hi guys, Andrea here!

I'm finally excited to share with you that the PCB for the Mesa MK2C is ALMOST completed. We're almost ready for a first production batch!

If someone has experience with this type of amp, I would love a second pair of eyes. Happy to offer a free board/discount for anyone willing to help ;) Let me know below the post

Cheers

Hi Andrea,

I've had success with a handwired Mark IV clone, and know the Mark topologies and schematics pretty well. I would love to evaluate a board for you guys :)

SLO 100 Help

Hey everyone! Getting stuck on my SLO 100 build. Any help would be greatly appreciated, so thanks in advance!

I believe that the problem is between the Input Jack and the Return Jack, but I can't figure out where.

Symptoms: When instrument cable is plugged into the Input jack, no audio passes. There is a noise floor hum. All LEDs illuminate as intended. After a few moments, my current limiter gradually increases in brightness until it glows brightly (and remains bright). As the bulb reaches full brightness, the indicator LEDs for channel selection start to dim.

When I plug the instrument cable into the Return jack, the amp passes signal. The audio is full and works on both channels. Interestingly, the channel LEDs pulse in brightness slightly when audio signal is applied - there is a direct link with applied audio signal and the LED brightness.

I've pulled V1, V2,…

Mine is the same. Is there any way to solve it? The current is very loud.

Dumble 6V Aux Tap

Hey guys! New forum - I assume this is still the place to ask for tech advice!

I'm almost through the Dumble #102 build, and I'm using a Fender Twin power transformer that doesn't have the 6v Aux Tap for the relay circuit.

Would it be safe to pigtail/tap off the 6.3 heater voltage?

Thanks in advance!

Yes, absolutely. 👍

Fender 763 Build Completed w/Pic

A picture of my first AA PCB build. This was built on the 763 Deluxe Reverb plans, but it's in a Super Reverb Chassis to gain the mid pot. Another departure from the norm, I used 20 watt transformers from a Hammond Organ.

The build went really well and sounds great.
