OK, so I fired up the Princeton, and have plenty of gain, but now I am concerned about the bias. With the bias pot at maximum negative voltage ( -25.53 volts ), and using a bias master to measure plate current, I get 41.5 MA !! at 366 plate voltage that's over 100 % plate dissipation ! Has anybody else had to change any bias resistor values to get it down ?? Any tips would be helpful. Also, I have checked all the connections for the vibrato, and the footswitch changes the reading at the jack, but the opots have no effect and I get no vibrato David L

Hello all, I have populated my Prince board and am prepping the chassis with ground lugs and sockets and pots, and have begun planning the wire routing. I think I may have found an error on the layout diagram, perhaps someone can verify with me. On the diagram, where the red and blue wires from the 220k grid leak resistors go to the power tube sockets, the diagram shows a blue wire marked on the board as V5/P5 going to V6/P5 and the red wire that is marked V6/P5 goinng to V5/P5. Should these be wired as to what is marked on the board ? Perhaps it doesn't matter, as the schematisc looks like the same place in the circuit, but I think it ought to be corrected to avoid confusion. thanks for any help. David
